Who in their right mind would want to be president of the US? Having begun with vaulting hopes, President Barack Obamas tenure serves as a cautionary reminder be careful what you wish for, you might actually get it. At home, Mr Obamas prospects of pulling off anything big are slim to none after last weeks thunderbolt from the Tea Party.
Meanwhile, US-trained units in Iraq are dropping their weapons and fleeing far inferior al-Qaeda forces at first contact. Even Baghdad looks vulnerable. Talk about being mugged by reality. On paper the job of US commander-in-chief is the most powerful in the world. In practice, your power to change things is waning yet there is no limit on your ability to take the blame. To repeat: what sane person could want the job?
The answer, of course, is lots of people, Hillary Clinton included.

Hillary Clinton is sane? Who knew? lol
Its seems like Obama gets a free pass for most of his messes, and he has a lot of them going now.
Nothing is his fault.
He heard about it on the news and is mad as hell about it.
Bush’s fault. Tee time.
The correct question should be "Who in their right mind would vote for someone with zero leadership ability and a foreign world view to be President of the US?"
Never has the USA been besieged with Christian Prohibitions....initiated under this Administration....Cover your crosses, don't say Jesus....
But some ah can go to the Rose Garden and send greetings to allah? ?????????
The yapping Yorkie just caught the semi-truck. Who’s next!
Barack’s chickens are coming home to roost.
When you make decisions against the interests of your country consistently, why would anyone expect anything other than negative consequences?
Obama will have a wonderful legacy. Here’s how it works: The next POTUS will be a Republican and 8 months into his Presidency a nuclear bomb will be set off by terrorists in a major US city, and when it happens, the Republican POTUS will be reading to school kids and liberals will trash him for doing so and say the nuclear bomb went off because of his policies while Obama will be touted as “one of the greatest Presidents”.
This is the kind of stuff they wrote toward the end of Jimmy Carter’s presidency to deflect from his incompetence. They stopped after Reagan. Now they’re back to deflect for Obama.
I have thought this exact same thing for a while now. If the terrorists are smart, they’re planning this, as a way of getting Democrats in power for the next 50 years so they can have a free hand worldwide.
After weeks of laughing that the TEA party was dead, suddenly one major loss is a ‘thunderbolt’ that has everyone quaking in their boots...
what a bunch of pussies
If “O” was IN his office, he’d have to W O R K!
Can’t be doin’ that!
Either that or a nuke will go off while the baraq syndicate is still in power. They declare an emergency and suspend elections. Can’t change leadership while in the middle of a crisis. Then they implement the belief of never let a crisis go to waste.
Cantor lost because Virginians voted against the GOP-E Leadership: Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy and Ryan.
When Boehner is no longer Speaker the road is then cleared to force Obama to RESIGN, as it is to late for a lengthy Impeachment of Obama.
The longer that We, The People tolerate Boehner as speaker of the House, the longer We, the People are guilty of tolerating Obama as our Taliban Mullah in Chief.
Yet, sadly, the only change is Cantor, as we’ll still have Boehner and now McCarthy, who is pretty damn moderate, in leadership with no Conservative replacement. =(
And how do you suppose the next Speaker is going to accomplish that?
With a magic wand?
With Boehner as Speaker there is NO effective difference between Obama and the GOP Congress.
With Boehner as Speaker, the Democrats will win back the House in November.
Nope.
All the Speaker has to have is a Patriot’s spine.
There is madness all around.
IMHO, soebarkah is an islamist who feels everything is proceeding just fine.
