Reports are starting to show up on Twitter of explosions in the International Zone in Baghdad, aka the Green Zone. It is about 2:15 a.m. in Baghdad, IIRC.

2: He’s black and they don’t want to be called racists.

Driving the price up past $5/gal will effectively do the rationing.
Expensive gas does have one benefit, it gets poor people off the streets and reduces congestion.
What interest do we have in Baghdad other than getting U.S. citizens out?

I was in Missouri/Arkansas/Oklahoma last week, regular was $3.20/gal. Seemed like the “good old days”
They had info on this coming a long time back. When you add the releases of terrorists, Bhengazi, the bussing in of illegals, the refusal to secure borders, they could have had him declared mentally unfit and forced the issue.
Right now people continue to die. Before the day ends, Americans will be added to the list of the dead. They had power to stop it and refused.
Regular gasoline sometimes-with-ethanol here is about $3.73; the one station with the ethanol-free premium is really pushing the “what the market will bear” principle.
Just to drive the point home...
An attack on Bagdad was known to be in the works.
Our embassies were again under protected.
The CIC ordered no evac or reinforcement and went golfing the day the attack began.
How is that not mentally unfit by any definition?
