In societies (mainly Muslim) where polygamy is practiced, only the relatively wealthy have multiple wives. In such situations, women have a choice: "Would you rather share a rich man, or have a poor man all to yourself?".
Also, in those societies, the current wife has little to say in whether her husband takes an additional wife, and divorce consists of the divorced wife leaving with not much more than just her personal clothing.
Feminists may not be keen on supporting the infrastructure needed for polygamy.
In the meanwhile, how many women are out there who regularly sleep with men who are sleeping with other women as well? In the inner-cities, they effectively already have informal polygamy.
