Elton played at Rush’s wedding for one million dollars. Guess he likes a buck as much as anyone.
That’s right, I’d forgotten that. IMHO it’s nuts to pay that kind of money for entertainment. Rush probably could have hired the Boston Pops for a fraction of that. (That’s what I’d do!)
I was such a huge fan of Elton John when I was younger. After he got super famous I wasn’t that crazy about his stuff, but I do still like him as a person. And of course I still love his old songs.
