One of the nice byproducts of so much rain is that everything is lush, verdant, and green. Like the rain-forest.

It's going OK here. Got some more rain yesterday morning. Had 2 or 3 loud claps of thunder but never lost power.
Also spent the morning splitting apart a tree branch which fell off. Not sure if it was due to lightning or heavy rain or strong winds.

Good morning to everyone at the Canteen. 68º with rain cooled air. Yard looks like a war zone. Tops of several trees are broken and down.
The straight line wind was clocked close to 70 MPH a few miles away. The good thing, is that we got just over 2" of rain.

Same on this side of the country - we got plenty of rain, then another system will push the humidity out so that the weekend will be less humid and mid 80s.
We have some shopping to do as well. Father’s Day and hubby’s birthday coming up.

Ahh tis easy my dear, Just a tortilla that the wife and kids mashed up and rolled out, A bit of fried taters (papas) and an egg over easy.
Garnish with some of Gods lovely green bits and find the hot sauce ;)

Ya know? some folks here will just rail that Linda is a raving lefty, and refuse to acknowledge her talent but Good Lord I adore her voice.
Her Work with Nelson Riddle is STELLAR
Damn Shame, I think she has parkinsons now and it prevents her singing.
