On Wednesday, Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) spoke to the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, pushing for jobs to move to Texas. In the process, he praised former First Lady and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "Very, very capable public servant," Perry stated. "Great Secretary of State, first lady. Very capable."

Why not? He has always had one foot squarely on the left. Always. He has never hidden it.

Very capable? More like culpable.. Just ask the dead Ambassador Stevens and his brave crew. Any white haired sweet church organist has done more for America than myth Hil ever can claim.

Sigh.
Once again Freepers are swallowing the whole load here.
Did Perry really say this? Are these remarks taken out of context?
I searched for any other source that could corroberate this. There are none.
Being that these remarks are out of character with Gov. Perry’s stance and considering how he was just speaking as politicians do, it is a shame to see how many FReepers are knee-jerking here.
Sad.

In the LA Times story: "Perry praised the California climate, he praised the forests, the coasts, the parks and, above all, he praised the wine the finest in the world -- the latter drawing perhaps the loudest, most exuberant response of his roughly hourlong appearance."
So maybe he was drunk on the Cali wine?

It’s not that he’s tripping over his tongue as much as sticking up for the establishment. It seems all these career politicians are in cahoots with one another.
