He does not have Cuban citizenship. His father doesn’t either. This was revoked when the father effectively became an ‘exile’ by falling out of favor with the Castro regime. From the point he left Cuba, he was a stateless person.

From everything I’ve seen, Cruz has approached this minefield with openness and honesty. At this point in time, I don’t see much of anyone else I could support.
