I think what really has these people shaken is that the sitting House majority leader and future Speaker of the House was toppled by some dude who financed his campaign with less money than he would have spent on a decent mid-sized SUV. Bingo. And won handily. What I find fascinating is how may Dems appear to be reeling at the loss of a Republican they thought had it in the bag. They shouldn't care about Cantor, but clearly they do. Or is it the Establishment loss they care about?

I think the real fear by Democrats here is that if this is what Republican voters would do to a sitting Republican in a pretty safe district, then the turnout by conservative voters in November could be monumental.
