I think what really has these people shaken is that the sitting House majority leader and future Speaker of the House was toppled by some dude who financed his campaign with less money than he would have spent on a decent mid-sized SUV.
The whole idea of a "professional political class" should be unraveling here in the U.S., and I think leftists have the most to fear from that.
