We need Rand Paul. He's all over the place with his views, but he attracts voters away from the pre-ordained elite in both parties. During Cruz's 21 hours, Rand Paul was there, asking tough questions for sure, but questions tha seemed to keep Cruz's magnificent intellectual and speaking skills from slowing down.
Boy have you got that wrong.
Rand Paul IS ONE of the Elite.
He backed GOP-Elite McConnell over the Tea-Party Bevin.
He's decided that the Social Issues are not important anymore.
He's got his own Amnesty plan.

Bevin was handed everything he needed to run a decent campaign. He has no track record of voting and made big mistakes as the campaign unfolded. I can't really fault Rand Paul for supporting the US Senator from his state, although I don't like it.
Rand Paul is all over the place with his views. Sometimes I think he's just bored and likes to say stuff. Do I want him to run for President? No. But it's getting so perception matters. I want those who support Rand Paul perceiving themselves as people who don't vote with the in crowd.
