I’ve been wondering why we don’t have the various embassies handling their own citizens.

That was my ake on this from the start. We have various embassies all over take them their home countries embassy and make them their responsibility. Ask them publicly why they are not caring for their ‘children’.

These kids are coming from all different countries with no papers and the clothes on their back.

We absolutely have to take care of them. It's what we do and have always done.
