We had a trash can mover this morning at 4am; streets, roads and many homes were flooded. I’m up on a hill, so we just watch the water run away, downhill. All loose objects are battened-down.

I am on a hill here too....if my house floods...the whole city is screwed! Same with my home in FLorida...It is on an elevated corner lot and at least 6 feet higher than the rest...and that fact alone has saved me from water damage in recent huricanes.
