Continued prayers for Justina and her family. I hope the judges ruling will be overturned.

Thank God. This will go down in the books as one of the first examples of openly tyrannical medical fascism in America that actually got attention. Its not enough to keep your kids out of public schools. ANY TIME you enter them into an institution where the government can swoop in, you have to be damn sure you’re making the right decision.

Good news. I just hope the family wasn’t forced/coerced into signing a waiver of their rights to pursue lawsuits as a precondition for the Massachusetts bureaucrats agreeing to do this.

This is the sort of family a real president would publically stand with in the Rose Garden. And they would need to worry about hidden dog whistles being sounded in Pashto either.

I hope not. This is a travesty of justice.

I actually hope they were. Such a document would be unenforceable and clear proof of coercion.

Everyone involved in imprisoning that girl should be
publicly flogged and I mean that quite literally.

One of the first examples to get widespread attention anyways

I never understood this situation, because I believe that the residence of the parents was/is Connecticut, and the authorities trying to confiscate the child was Massachussetts.
I don’t really understand how that can happen, if my facts are correct. Anyway, I hope that she gets reunited with her parents. Incidentally, I believe that I am remotely related to the Pelletiers.

Such travesties have been occurring in Mass-hole-chusetts for a very long time.

Mass courts have rewritten the book on judicial malfeasance and abuse of discretion.

I would sign it to get my kid back. Then I would mount a campaign to annoy the crap out of all the politicians who did not help me. I would sue. I would call for criminal charges against the doctors and state workers who carried out this hideous act. I would start a newspaper and buy ink by the barrel. I just wouldn't stop.

Wouldn't apply to Justina. She can and should still sue all the deep pockets when she turns 18.

This was State kidnapping, medical experimentation
without permission, and its coverup.

Dr. Mengele, please pick up the red phone for
Gov. Deval Patrick.

Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services doesn’t want the girl to die in their custody?

I would sign it, then write a tell all book about the abuse I faced from the state, then when she turns 18 I would publish the book and dump the profits directly into suing the crap off the state of mass-hole-chew-zits.

Lou Pelletier was on the Jeff Kuhner talk show this a.m. He said that the state merely filed something saying they would not oppose the Pelletier motion to free Justina. The Judge has said he will not consider ruling until June 20.

Mr. Pelletier also said that many times they seemed to be nearly there, but the state was like Lucy and the football to Charlie Brown. He also said it was remarkable how much more coverage the matter has gotten in the European (especially British) and even Australian media than here.

For quite a while, I've thought that was exactly what they wanted, because they figured it would be cheaper to them in the long run, in multiple ways.
