The state of Arizona has shipped mattresses, portable toilets, and showers to a warehouse in Nogales where over 700 illegal immigrant children have been "dumped" by federal agents using the facility as a makeshift holding center.
An official with the Department of Homeland Security told the Associated Press that 2,000 mattresses have been ordered after most of the children spent the night sleeping on plastic cots.
Gov. Jan Brewer's spokesman, Andrew Wilder, said Friday that conditions at the center are so dire that federal officials have asked the state to immediately ship medical supplies there.
DHS started flying illegal immigrants to Arizona from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas last month after the number of immigrants -- including more than 48,000 children traveling on their own -- overwhelmed the Border Patrol there. Families were flown from Texas, released in Arizona, and told to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office near where they were traveling within 15 days. ICE has said the immigrants were mostly families from Central America fleeing extreme poverty and violence.
Federal officials told Brewer Friday that more than 1,000 illegal immigrant children will be "dumped" in Arizona this weekend and the practice would continue for the foreseeable future. Adults and family units will also arrive, though Brewer was not told how many, her office said. Brewer said the federal government never formally informed her administration of the practice and has never explained it.
Brewer said she has demanded answers from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, and is again calling on President Obama to terminate the practice. “I am disturbed and outraged that President Obama’s administration continues to implement this dangerous and inhumane policy, meanwhile neglecting to answer crucial questions our citizens demand and deserve," she said.

I read a similar article yesterday that said 3 out of 4 of these “children” were at least 16 years of age. I don’t like having to pay to fly them from Texas or wherever to Arizona just because DHS wants to dump them there
She should sent the Arizona State Police to the borders of the state where these buses are coming from and turn them around. This sh!t has got to stop, and we need a governor anywhere in the US to start standing up against the over reach of the federal govt and to start standing up for the legal citizens in their state.

2. Immediately begin seizing Federal Properties as well as Property Owned By FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, to PAY for this, using the Kelo decision to justify the taking.

I guess the BP can’t cover all the miles on the border. I don’t live too far from the border (150 miles) I know a lot of drugs come thru here, but I haven’t seen or heard of any busloads of illegals here yet.
The gov’t planned on closing the BP office here and sending the agents to Del Rio, after congressmen intervened we got a reprieve; I don’t know if the plan is still there. They want us to be totally defenseless.
We can’t feed them, but you can bet they’re already registered to vote, which they will, dead or alive.

Believe the only applicable statute in Arizona mandates giving water to any who ask......just give ‘em water and the phone number to O’Basturd, INS etc.
I agree that this didn’t just happen. The Obama Administration couldn’t get enough traction going in Congress to achieve amnesty, and the people voiced their complaints whenever it came up, so they had to come up with another approach.
