Gillespie is more conservative than many on this website give him credit for. He is a practicing Catholic and has won over the conservative activists I work with.
Tim Kaine and Nancy Pelosi are “practicing” Catholics. I’m sorry. But with all due respect, that argument is not strong enough to change the optics for me.
Warner supported Obama like 98% of the time..If Gillespie can make that an issue in the race..he’s got a chance. That, and Obamacare, and the new EPA regs..it’s a viable contest..especially when the polling starts to narrow, as it will
The main reason that the democrats kick our asses all over the place is the fact that they do not fight each other. For the past forty years the disgruntled among us have demanded a third party. That sure is a good idea. For electing even more democrats. Right now the number one priority should be kicking Harry Reid out of his leadership role, but no. We have to get rid of our old(read experienced)electable senators and congressmen to satisfy some rage. Rage on while the ship of state goes to the bottom.
I find it interesting that John Warner is endorsing Mark Warner in this race.
High turnout in NoVA guarantees a Warner victory.
It doesn’t matter how supposedly conservative members of the GOPe are on other issues: they’re for amnesty, which will make future conservative governing an impossibility.
Mexicans are practicing Catholics
So what?
That was 1997-2008 logic around here....see where that got us
Majority Catholics vote Dem and always have except Reagan and 2004
Speaking of which Gillespie is all in on amnesty
Yes is better than Warner
Like colon cancer is better than a megaglioma on the cerebellum
Small favor
I still recall how Ed called us racist over amnesty and sexist over Harriet Miners
He’s a turd wrapped in brooks brothers...

Not a very appealing resume.
