Agree. It is endlessly expressed on this board that no matter what, "He will get away with it." It's easy to understand where that's coming from.

BUT

I wish folks would consider that this repeated defeatist rhetoric is not helpful in any way. It's actually aiding and abetting, in a way. If it were one or two occasional comments among a hundred - that's one thing. But lately, having read a lot (more than usual) the board seems overrun with...

Case in point: Allen West called for Articles of Impeachment. On the thread about that, multiple comments are posted, declaring the absolute impossibility of such. We cry out for leaders. Leader steps up. His message is derided. Cynicism will get us nowhere.

I too believe Obama and his administration is pathetically stupid.

However, the press in this country, whom I believe to be the REAL enemy, covers for him, builds a meme for him (smartest president) and continues to deride and smack Republicans.

WE HERE need to step up our game... Less talk, more rock. We all need to get out and do something this election. I’m canvassing for conservative votes and manning phones this year. I’m also writing letters to the editor on various rags pointing out media bias. THAT is fun and very often my letters are printed.

People need to get real as to when impeachment can and should be used and when it’s folly. I personally would like to see more impeachments of lower level individuals to set the precedent.

There have been no impeachments of major figures for anything other than personal scandals. That was established by the Andrew Johnson impeachment and it’s held true.

One has to discern what is political blustering and what is actionable.

Graham and McCain fall into the former. Is Feinstein for real or is she just blustering also?

Even if the House came up with Articles of Impeachment, Reid’s Senate would table them. The only way Articles would ever be raised is if the Dems raised them. Otherwise, the Pubbies are seemingly intelligent enough to know that their raising them would be clouded of rancid charges of being RACIST!

BRAVO! THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST. Everyone: stop with the negative, defeatist attitude, the negative/defeatist postings..it does no one any good. We want to inspire others to work toward a WIN and complete this mission of saving our country, our freedom and liberty. Support those men and women who step out and speak out, who contribute ideas, possible solutions. Don’t shoot them down.
