Long before Gakirah Barnes was murdered in a hail of bullets on the South Side, her mother had heard the unsettling, persistent rumors about her.
Her 17-year-old daughter the same 5-foot-3, 128 pound girl once seen as shy at school was known for something almost unheard of on the streets of Chicago.
There are teenage girls who are accomplices in gang murders.
There are girls who hide gang guns for their boyfriends.
But Barnes was believed to be a hitta a female assassin for a faction of the Gangster Disciples, law enforcement sources say.

“Live fast...die young...leave a butt-ugly corpse.”
Baby got back?
Why not? That's how Obama gets his information. But I'm willing to bet, she doesn't read the paper. She's definitely a low-information voter.
This is what St. Trayvon of the Skittles (SBUH) was fast on the way to becoming. When George Zimmerman exterminated that piece of subhuman debris, he saved many mostly innocent lives, and at no cost to the taxpayers.
Mothra’s long lost sister.
Two at least.
The movie Precious was an eye opener.
She done met a mo bigga hitta.
“The mother said she heard her daughter won 2000 dollars at the local bingo hall. The mother wanted what she thought was her share.”
I’e maintained for decades that many of the permanent welfare population don’t love their children (and have taken a lot of flak for it). Every day I’m convinced of it more; I’m no saint but I sacrifice a lot for my children. I would never have them exposed to the mutants the welfare gibsmedats expose their children to every day.
“The movie Precious was an eye opener.”
Living near Newark NJ, the content wasn’t a surprise to me (the welfare fraud, ignorance, failure to assimilate); the real eye opener was that it was ever allowed to be put in the film.
Contrast it with the “bizarro world” depictions on TV that are so far from reality they are as credible as “Looney Tunes”...
The Offspring - Come Out and Play
You gotta keep’m separated
They’re like the latest fashion
They’re like a spreading disease
The kids are strappin’ on their way to the classroom
Getting weapons with the greatest of ease
The gangs stake out campus locale
And if they catch you slippin’ then it’s all over pal
If one guy’s colors and the other’s don’t mix
They’re gonna bash it up
Bash it up x3
Hey, man you talkin’ back to me
Take him out
You gotta keep’em separated
Hey, man you disrespecting me
take him out
You gotta keep’em separated
Hey, they don’t pay no mind
If you’re under 18 you won’t be doing any time
Hey, come out and play
By the time you hear the siren
It’s already too late
One goes to the morgue and the other jail
One guy’s wasted and the other’s a waste
It goes down the same as the thousand before
No one’s getting smarter
No one’s learning the score
Your never ending spree of death and violence and hate
Is gonna tie your own rope
Tie your own rope
Tie your own
Hey, man you disrespecting me
take him out
You gotta keeep’em separated
Hey, man you talkin’ back to me
take him out
You gotta keep’em separated
Hey, don’t pay no mind
If you’re under 18 you won’t be doing any time
Hey, come out and play
It goes down the same as the thousand before
No one’s getting smarter
No one’s learning the score
Your never ending spree of death and violence and hate
Is gonna tie your own rope
Tie your own rope
Tie your own
Hey, man you talkin’ back to me
take him out
You gotta keep’em separated
Hey, man you disrespecting me
take him out
You gotta keeep’em separated
Hey, don’t pay no mind
If your under 18 you won’t be doing any time
Hey, come out and play
Unscrambled you can get 'Hark Gia'.
Mamma must have been an environmentalist.

“Funny how black leaders never talk about the corrosive influence rap music has had in the black culture over the last 20+ years.”
I agree! Whatever happened to The Manhattans, The Stylistics, The O’Jays, The Temptations and so many more? That was wonderful, romantic music, and then along came RAP, and overnight the “gangstas” took over. Disgusting!
