Wish that I could... I was never in the military so I won’t offer an opinion as to whether or how severely Bergdahl should be punished. If however he was tried as a traitor and hanged I wouldn’t be surprised. The pressure to do just that will come from the families of the dead and wounded who went on missions to rescue/arrest? him.

I have an idea ; we release ALL Gitmo detainees and arrest the entire Obama administration and put them all in Gitmo instead . Then we go and archlight all the just released detainees without hesitation .

Great guys all. When asked how they thought Bergdahl looked in the video they chuckled and said “He looks good; we looked worse after being out on patrol looking for him.”

I just talked to a good friend in the Army, I won’t describe what he does or who he is, sufficive to say he presses a lot of palms and hears a lot of chatter. Nobody special, not an “operator”, but he is well respected regularly travels the country visiting bases -his job (in his later years) would be described very much as dundane.
From what he says, Bergdahl was AWOL for his deployment from Idaho, off in the mountains and showed up late with an infection the put him on medical call.
