Weeks ago it was revealed the Department of Justice was working with the FDIC to provide new monetary regulations that would halt the sale of guns by licensed gun dealers.
Though Obama maintains that he only wants to enforce “reasonable, common sense” gun control, when you peak behind the curtain it’s easy to see this is just a magic trick he’s using to distract Americans from what’s really happening.
So how is Obama going to finally starve Americans of access to firearms? It’s called “Operation Chokepoint.”
Operation Chokepoint is a devious means of shutting down gun stores by blocking them from obtaining credit and even basic banking services.
Operation Chokepoint works directly with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and lumps gun sellers into the same category as “high risk” businesses like pornographers, head shops, and pyramid schemes to prevent lending institutions from providing them with open lines of credit to fund their businesses.

We also need millions of anonymous small, medium and large investors in the USA to stop putting their money into India (that Wisdom Tree ad on Fox makes me want to puke), Brazil and China, and start investing in AMERICA! We need anonymous financial houses to create funds to invest in American pop culture, so we can de-program the pop culture lobotomized generation that's going to be running this country starting in about 10 years. We need millions of anonymous Americans to get over their aversion to social networking and all things Generation.com, and learn how to communicate with them. Realistically, unless the firearm was purchased from a dealer after the date the law went into effect, they have absolutely no way of tracking when you bought or sold a firearm via private transaction.
That’s why this admin is actively replacing the important leadership positions within the military and elevating the lawyer positions. Anyone gets out of the left line, they’re gone.

I agree with the first part. As to the second I disagree as Obama has demonstrated he is pefectly willing to government without the Constitution, without popular support, without Congress and without the Courts. He is a tyrant - pure and simple.

You are right to a point, however I’m sure you have been noticing the cultural “changes” that this admin and Clinton’s have made to the military over the years.
Aliens born in other parts of the world are now recruited as foederati, and even illegals can be given this option now.

Can't be done. Using your own hypothetical, what is stopping the gun club members from providing the capital and opening their own gun store??? It would have not only the gun club members, but the rest of the "gun buying public" as customers. Use the profits to benefit the club.
You’d think big brother could put all this effort towards combating an actual threat, but nooo, they have to put it towards people who only want to be left the hell alone.
This action clearly violates the due process clause of the 5th and 14th Amendments.
There’s a good chance that a federal court will bar this thuggish practice on numerous grounds.
Do those predictions take into account the full weight of the US military, plus outside military forces, plus shutting down all long-range communication, plus checkpoints every 20 miles or so? How about drones with FLIR for nighttime?

I feel the farming laws are unconstitutional. Those go further back than firearms laws. The government has been stepping over its bounds for well over 100 years. I won’t get into the Civil War.
And what if anything are the Republicans doing to stop this other than sitting around & jerking off?
If you think about this & the answer you get is not a damned thing maybe its time to start rethinking our support for the GOP.
