“reprogram a mobile phone into an IED.”

Gee, I know that today’s phones are pretty smart, but programed to explode? I assume that he means programed to be a trigger for an IED.

I find James Rosen’s reporting to usually be spot on.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
>> Bergdahl taught Islamist fighters how to reprogram a mobile phone into an IED.
If that’s true....

...but that his involvement with the terrorist group may be as serious as you can imagine. The most serious thing would be to take up arms against his fellow US soldiers. My question is why would he come back?
To: Mike Darancette
Because he was sure the Obama administration would welcome him back with open arms?

If all this is true he will be isolated from the media on the pretext of health issues, given another promotion and all his back pay, swing a sweet book deal, be feted on all the TV talk shows, and run for the Senate.

Why not make him the next Sergeant Major of the Army or put a gold bar on his shoulder? Or perhaps become a Muslim chaplain?

isnt it obvious ? being an America-hating islamic sympathizer he was willing to take one for the taliban team, if necessary, so their dream team of leaders could get back in the game and kill American troops again. they are going to be in Qatar for a year, but they are a little rusty so they need some time to work on being savages.
the obama gang never figured there would be the negative firestorm that has happened.
they calculated that obama and the bergdahls would get a ticker tape parade.

Fox News is...unimaginative...because “as serious as I can imagine” is the Taliban infecting Bergdahl with Ebola (2 to 21 day incubation period before symptoms begin showing) during which time he’s met with the President and many layers of the military and civilians in parades and the like to spread the virus.

My question is why would he come back? Because the tailiband had already gotten what little usefulness out of him they could, and he had become nothing more than another mouth to feed and not even useable as cannon fodder since there was no way they would trust him with any type of weapon.
Trade him for some of their leaders and probably a substantial amount of bribes? Helluva deal for them.

Coincidence that I was watching episode 8 of The Americans’ and that’s how one of the KGB guys hit one of the US scientists.

This just gets worse all the time. This is worthy of conviction in the Senate & even a criminal court.
