If Nixon had had the media now working to destroy America, he would have been just as bad in covering up, BUT I doubt he would have been enemy of the Republic as little barry bastard boy and his regime of democrips are showing themselves to be.

Nixon lusted for the job of President. Little bastard boy merely lusted for the fame of sitting in the Oval Office ... and being beyond the law of the land so his drug-addled life would be beyond reproach given his half black (or less) claims of race. Nixon lusted to lead. Little barry lusts for something much more nasty and purile.
