U.S. soon to recover all the jobs lost in the financial crisis (Orwell would be proud)

Set your sights on this number: 113,000.

That's how many jobs the U.S. economy needs to hit its break-even point, to finally recover all the jobs lost in the financial crisis.

Get ready, because we're about to get there this Friday.

That's when the U.S. Department of Labor will release its May jobs report, and the outlook is rosy. Economists surveyed by CNNMoney expect the U.S. economy added 200,000 jobs in May.

Neither party is working to bring back American jobs.

We currently run a MASSIVE trade deficit with communist China.

Last year, China imported 440 billion dollars of just about everything sold in America, to America.

Last year, America exported just 122 billion dollars of goods to China.

Difference between what we bought, and what we sold: 318 billion dollars. Just last year.

We are being sold out.

Bring back American jobs.

Nugget of truth buried in the article:

The country has about 15 million more working-age people now than it did in early 2008. It will take millions more jobs to achieve the kind of healthy job market we had before the recession.

Probably fairly true, but then, the economy needs to add millions of jobs to get “caught up” to where it ought to be today if there hadn’t been a recession. This just gets us “caught up to the 2007 numbers, if I’m reading it right.

Well, the author would counter that only 113,000 jobs were needed, so now we’re over the top.

Yippee! Break out the champagne!

And how many of those jobs have been filled by non-Americans? And how many Americans are working at McDonalds?

They’re ignoring the people that have given up looking for a job and people that have recently graduated from HS or College that can’t get a decent full time job.

She concedes that (see my post #12), but the article is deceptive and misleading. Just more propaganda for this failed administration. Thanks, CNN!
