Live elections results. Polls close in 20 minutes!
You know that the voting was over a while ago. What they are doing now is “counting”. I WAITED until the “voting” was over.
I clearly suck at trying to change people’s votes. You can’t even claim I used reverse psychology by urging people to vote for McDaniel before the polls closed in the hopes that people who hated me would vote for Cochran.
Heck, I wouldn’t care if Cochran had a perfect voting record, he’s been there way too long and it is time for new blood. I’m tired of career politicians.
But if Cochran manages to pull out a victory, feel free to feel as bad as you want about it.
And now I realize that there is one possibility I really discounted — a runoff, such that there WILL be another vote.
If we do end up in a runoff, maybe the mods can delete all my posts so we can be sure nobody will read them and think they should change their vote to Cochran.
Will that get him over 50%?

Cochran was born in Pontotoc, as was his supporter, Roger Wicker. So it will be a minor miracle is McD takes the county.

Depends how many vote Cochran in Holmes and the final outstanding Delta county. We would ideally like low turnout from those counties.
