Wow I thought Obama said that Congress was consulted. Apparently not according to the WH.

The first claim was that they did a legal review and decided they could proceed without Congress. NOW it was an oversight.

LIARS!

I think this goes back to when Karzai and Obama were knocking heads on negotiating with the Taliban.

Apparently, Obama told Karzai to sc***.

Let's see that agreement again that Karzai wouldn't sign. I think it's a clue.

Um, no, and no. Lies obfuscated with false apologies and hyperbole.

Baghdad Rice said on the Sunday talk show:

“The Department of Defense consulted with the Department of Justice and given the acute urgency of the health condition of Sgt. Bergdahl and given the president’s Constitutional responsibilities, it was determined that it was necessary and appropriate not to adhere to the 30-day notification requirements because it would have potentially meant that the opportunity to get Sgt. Bergdahl would have been lost,” Rice said.
