CBS News this a.m. actually covered the story fairly, IMO. They had interviews with soldiers who said right up front that he had deserted his post. Also highlighted the impact of releasing high-importance prisoners from Gitmo. Like the VA story, it looks likes it's gloves off for the MSM. The media coverup of Obama's lies has become so transparent, they are scrambling to retain a shred of credibility with their viewers.

It's more likely that Hillary has decided to run against Obama, and lots of media types are still on Team Clinton.
