“Tidal wave of fury building up,” is putting it mildly, IMHO.
And, the issue of whether he gets to keep his pay for the past 5 years is another matter, too!

Military-related blogs, Twitter accounts and Facebook pages were filled with screeds from commenters accusing Bergdahl of being a traitor or a Taliban collaborator. Funny, I happen to think the McClatchy papers are filled with screeds.

Have read so many differing accounts and am still putting 2 + 2 together. Discouraging that have seen very little that appears authentic or is purposeful that little to nothing is appear that can be substantiated as authentic and that is why keep coming up with 2 + 2 = 3, 5 or 6. Guess am slower than used to be.

I’ve e-mailed the mayor of Hailey and am trying to coordinate local VFW members to contact Idaho VFW and get them to pledge not to get involved in any ‘hero worship ‘ for this man .
There needs to be a thorough MILITARY , non civilian , non political , public investigation . Prominently featuring the testimony of the soldiers that served with him and were a party to the days leading up to and after his disappearance . THEY KNOW and THEY should be heard , above all others

The more I study this situation the more am coming to believe the first, second and third horses have been ridden onto the world stage. Am wondering if there has been devised a method to bring the fourth rider onto the world stage, ahead of schedule, to usher in the final three sixes?

The President exchanged five top Taliban operatives, all of whom will eventually return to jihad, for some bozo who deserted his post and cost the lives of six of his fellow soldiers who sought to find him.
The USA PATRIOT Act makes it a crime to provide material support for terrorism, which is defined in our broad classes: training, expert advice or assistance, service and personnel.
There is no exception in the Act for the President, even when purportedly acting within the scope of his duties.
Considering that Obama has obviously supplied personnel (the five released Taliban kingpins) to a terrorist organization by releasing them and dropping them on their own doorstep, how is it possible for him not to have violated the USA PATRIOT Act as a result, considering there is no exception to the statute, even for the President?

This story sounds eerily similar to the traitorous schems of one John F Kerry. He gets a multitude of purple hearts for putting his own men in danger and he attempted to desert his men when under attack. The bad mouthing American soldiers in front of the world stage. To me that is one traitorous POS and this guy sounds a lot like Kerry in those regards.
