I think they are genuinely afraid of the Questionable intentions of the Rada...it's now being represented by much of the Solvada/PrivateSector and I can understand their concerns...just look at the bombing and the oppresion now, not to mention the Elections....all which support their concerns and fears.
I do believe, however, that after Kiev began bombing the area many of the people were thrown into thinking there was no hope of Kiev ever taking the Eastern Russians concerns into consideration...Heck they saw their Pres. candidate beaten and such til he had to withdraw) (just how is one to think clearly when being bombed and there's a war zone daily)...I think people are looking for an escape from the fighting and deaths...and watching their communities being destroyed.
Having states within Ukraine sounds reasonable to me.
We both abhor the airstrike if that is what it was. It may have been. I do know for a fact that the thugs in the Eastern Ukraine have been killing innocents as well, so the air-strike is much less meaningful in light of that.
At worsts, both sides truly suck. And the problem with what goes on the in the East, is that nobody wears uniforms, and you don’t know what nation’s citizens are involved, who is paying their way, and what their real agenda is.
It’a real problem. I think we in the West are kidding ourselves when we think we know what’s really going on.
I do not think the Ukrainians are thrilled with Kiev. The ones I talk to see problems there too. It’s just a real mess.
