And as someone on FR pointed out, he sure didnt look like the Jews in the concentration camps when they were released.

And I will go out on a limb to say this. His walking away from his unit in the middle of the night and hiking to some strange village as an unknown white honkey wearing a military uniform was probably planned over the internet with his muslim connections.
He knew who to ask for and they knew he was coming..........
