You can bet your Bippie that the WH calculated Rush’s planned absence in their release/dump of juicy stories this weekend.
I noticed that too! Odds are that Rush's first show when he returns starts out with....
"RUSH: Well, ladies and gentlemen, it looks like I continue to live rent free in the head of the president, Barack Obama...."
I recall from my youth in Illinois that the same tactic had been suggested for the great gardenspot known as "Chicago", but was rejected for one simple reason:
Sh** floats.
2010 story about how much of a “POW” Bergdahl was.
“We” got snookered!
They got 5 field generals back. Can we at least put McCrystal back to work?
Chalk another one up for the Muslim-in-Chief.
As with Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, what any credible talk show host should do is correct the record, to include inviting them back to tell the truth and apologize! Several examples how Geithner backed away sourced here. I’ve just added the warnings about the IOU’s for the taxpayers sake...
Geithner Fretted Over Social Security Deficits — Before the Dog Whistle
http://www.foxbusiness.com/2014/05/12/geithner-demanded-social-security-reformbefore-dog-whistle/
In treating Social Security like a slush fund, the federal government has borrowed, spent and vowed to pay back the $2.5 trillion or so surplus in payroll tax revenue it has siphoned out of Social Security. The money has been spent but the federal government has promised to pay it back.
In 2009, trustees, including Geithner, for Social Security issued a bleak report indicating the fund would start taking in fewer tax revenues versus the benefits it will pay out starting in 2016, the point in time when the federal government has to start paying the fund — meaning, taxpayers back, with interest.
As juxtaposed to Sargent Tahmooressi, I went to sign the WhiteHouse.gov petition demanding Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressis release from Mexican jail and my email was already being used, though I cant think of when I ever would go there except in a case like this, so I just asked for a new password and got on to sign it. My guess is Democrat community organizers already had me signed up, maybe from the college, student loan, or a dear relative.
...Update, they did get the 100,000 signatures needed!
Obama already gave the Taliban what they wanted with his speech at West Point, i.e., complete withdrawal by a date certain, 2016. Letting these Taliban return to Afghanistan must send shivers down the spines of the recently elected Afghan government.
They should update the directorblue.blogspot timeline, at the time they say Stevens is calling Hicks in Tripoli, Washington is also getting a call from an “agent”, basically the guard manning the front gate has locked himself in and is able to make several calls;
http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2012/10/198791.htm
SENIOR STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL:...I neglected to mention from the top that that agent from the top of this incident, or the very beginning of this incident, has been on the phone. He had called the quick reaction security team, he had called the Libyan authorities, he had called the Embassy in Tripoli, and he had called Washington.
Considering the General cluster**** that Missus 0 has made of mandated diets, I wouldn’t suggest anything of that sort to anybody.
Announce a gummint program to “adjust” your diet to eat more beef to make the poop sink (or any other reason at all) and half the people would ignore the suggestion, the rest would go Vegan just to be buttheads and both groups would join hands only long enough to flip the gummint the Bird.
The gubmint has been telling us what to eat for decades, remember the USDA approved “nutrition triangle” that had as a foundation huge amounts of carbs...starch, sugar?....And they wondered why Americans are fatter than ever.
Gotta avoid salt, fat, coffee, don’t eat too much chicken, don’t eat beef, cattle flatulence causes global warming.
Freakin food Nazis.
I’m sure “Mr. Petty” Obama is so ticked off at Karzai for not signing the extension of forces and US troops immunity agreement that he just had to leave that little pin-pulled grenade on his doorstep (just to show him).
Sugar is good for you. It gives you energy.
Yeah, if you’re running 20 miles. Otherwise it turns into fat.
LOL now that you mention it the terror types at gitmo do have the best healthcare money can buy.....
It is one hell of a coincidence.
Greta was a bulldog all week on the Tahmooressi case in Mexico. Once you hear his story which she aired in its entirety you see what hero this guy is. Yet he remains in prison due to the intransigence of our govt.
Our Att.Gen here in Fl. Pam Bondi being one of the few who has gone all out to help this guy. Between her and Greta they are waging a two gal war. Greta did the big media job and deserves a huge amount of praise. I don't always agree with everything she does but she sure did dig into this story and never let it go.Rare with today's media.
Truth is though its off the screen of the msm and barely mentioned here in the new media.
a true tragedy! This guy should have been released long before the deserter in Afghanistan.
If only we could make them require the "best healthcare money can buy"...and on their own dime.
but there might have been some hazards if they got too close to some of those mid-60’s enlistees who were still around then....
Drafted 60’s Nam Vet & proud of the way GWB treated any who served in any capacity.
He knew how freedom is/was really obtained.
Now we have a clown who talks a lot and does little while showing his real disdain for the military
