BELFAST, Northern Ireland A 75-year-old Irish preacher was subjected to a police probe after he condemned Islam in a sermon and was accused of hate mongering.
James McConnell, pastor of the Whitewell Metropolitan Church in North Belfast, Ireland, discussed the religion of Islam during an evening sermon on Sunday, May 18th. During the sermon, McConnell denounced Islam and said the contrast between it and Christianity is stark.
The God we worship and serve this evening is not Allah, he proclaimed, according to a video of his sermon. The Muslim godAllahis a heathen deity. Allah is a cruel deity. Allah is a demon deity.

May God bless you pastor.
Reminds me of the time back in the early 90s when I was preaching and this liberal weenie woman had invited this Muslim to the church. I basically said Jesus was the only way to Heaven. She demanded that I apologize to him. I told her to pound sand in a polite way.
My tagline has, for several years, been in close agreement with Rev. McConnell...
My apologies. I lost my temper when I read “Ireland.” I didn’t notice the city of Belfast because the opening few lines didn’t bother to distinguish between “Ireland” and “Northern Ireland.” I do know the difference between the two.
Still then... Being in Northern Ireland... This is going to spark one hell of a fight.
I meant exactly what I meant it to say...
It wasn’t until I calmed down I saw this was in Belfast. I guess that just makes my post all the more ironic considering why there is an Ireland and Northern Ireland.

We have been engaged in limited warfare with elements of Islam but an all out holy war hasn’t been waged for quite a while and not during the age of nuclear weapons. Most westerners would wish to avoid such a conflict. I think Islam will force the world down that path once Iran has the means of producing and proliferating nuclear weapons. I guess I’m talking about Armageddon.
I would describe the situation for the past two decades as
a “sporadic holy war.” Was there ever a day in any holy war when more infidels were killed than on Sept 11 2001? I believe that 9/11 was intended to rile up Islamicists in preparation for the decades-long “slow” war we are in the midst of. Islamicists have succeeded in breaking the will of much of Europe. As their population grows so will their political influence. At some point Europe will decide it’s easier just to go along with the wishes of its new Islamic majority than to confront a nuclear armed Iran.
The one sticking point in the road to a global Caliphate has been all those blasted conservative Christians in the United States and in parts of Africa. It’s just not as easy to dominate those people. Note how little support Christians are getting both domestically and abroad from our current administration.
While verifying this quote I located the following, which others may find useful.
“All editions from 1902 had an abridged text, in which Churchill excised about 25% of the original manuscript, but also some new material. [] The Churchill Center is now facilitating publication of a new unabridged edition.” - http://www.winstonchurchill.org/learn/writings
“Originally published in two volumes in 1899, The River War has been out of print in its original, unabridged version since it was shortened to one volume in 1902.” - http://www.staugustine.net/our-books/books/the-river-war/
An archived page from the Churchill Center has the quote - http://web.archive.org/web/20080624000933/http://www.winstonchurchill.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=137
The new unabridged edition does not yet appear on the Churchill Center website. An unabridged edition is available at http://www.staugustine.net/our-books/books/the-river-war/
This is an awesome quote. Is it the reason Obama returned the bust of Churchill?
