A cancer survivor that signed up for health insurance on Oklahomas federally-run Obamacare exchange was told there isnt a single doctor that accepts the plan within 400 miles of her, according to KTEN-TX.
Janet Grigg, who has survived colon cancer, attempted to use her newly-purchased Blue Cross Blue Care insurance plan at her regular cancer screening, but was turned down.
When I got there they said to me that the [insurance] card would not be accepted, and that they had in fact received a memo, Grigg told KTEN-TX. She was left to pay for the visit out of pocket, as well as any future visits to the practice.
Grigg said that she called the Obamacare exchange in her state and the representative told her they receive calls like this every day.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, which provides the health care plan, issued a statement to KTEN blaming recent health reform for the problem.

I would sue BCBS for $1Billion or more for knowingly selling a worthless plan.
I know that’s playing into Obama’s coming mandatory acceptance ,, but that’s what I’d do.
Are ObamaCare's Tax Credits Harmless? The Little Understood Dark Side Of The Subsidies
Republicans have by and large ignored the tax credit issue unless talking about the budget implications. Perhaps the silence is due to the fact that Congress has voted to change ObamaCare twice to increase the financial risk that families could face when they take the credit.
Since the enactment of ACA, these limits have been amended twice: first under the Medicare and Medicaid Extenders Act of 2010 (P.L. 111-309), and then under the Comprehensive 1099 Taxpayer Protection and Repayment of Exchange Subsidy Overpayment Act of 2011 (P.L. 112-9). Congress changed the payback protection to vanish at the 400% poverty level and increased the payback amounts at 200% and 300% FPL from what they had been before.
The result will be surprise bills from the IRS in the mail come tax time 2015, in the order of a couple hundred dollars all the way up to full value of any subsidy received if a family crosses the 400% FPL threshold. (This could be $10,000-$12,000 for a family of four, as an example.) Just a few dollars of extra income could result in thousands of back taxes to be paid.
No doctors available + quicker patient deaths due to no doctors = lower Obamacare costs. And as an added benefit, no need for death panels to decide who does or does not get healthcare.
I've lost count of how many times I've ready stories like the above. And yet, the Republican Party wants to drop its opposition to Obamacare during the mid-term elections.
They ARE the stupid party.
If the liberals got a gift like ObamaCare that embarrassed conservatives on a daily basis, while wrecking the lives of ordinary people, leftists would wallow in it shamelessly. I find it sad every time I read what ObamaCare is doing to its victims, and I am unwilling to wallow in the liberal-like joy of watching the victims suffer, but I hope conservatives will run against that evil law. Sadly, we aren’t willing to make ObamaCare as much of an issue as it should be, no matter how easy that might be.
“I will repeal ObamaCare as one of many actions to finally boost the economy out of the Obama malaise.”
“I will repeal ObamaCare as one of many actions to reduce Obama’s massive federal deficit that is crippling our economy and preventing the economic growth that our children need to thrive.”
“I will repeal ObamaCare as one of many actions to increase personal freedom. No one is better qualified to decide how to spend your money than you are.”
There are innumerable ties between repealing ObamaCare and positive, small-government conservative messages.
Shirley there must be some married doctors nearby who could do the job.
Just Google "Liverpool Pathway Controversy"
Here's an example (Daily Telegraph):
More terminally ill patients are dying in agony after the Governments decision to scrap the controversial Liverpool Care Pathway, it has been claimed.
A leading nurse claimed patients suffer because some medical staff are now too frightened to discuss end-of-life care.
Margaret Kendall, a consultant nurse in palliative care at Warrington and Halton Hospitals, said that in some places it felt like standards had gone backwards 10 to 15 years in recent weeks.
Her remarks follow the decision by ministers in the summer to replace the pathway after an independent review found it had been used inappropriately, including without consultation with families.
The pathway, which sets out protocols for managing the care of dying patients, was developed at the Marie Curie Hospice Liverpool and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital in the late Nineties.
You bribed a doctor to see you.
You bought your drugs on the black market
You brought in a your own linen, food and TP to your hospital room
You bribed the nurse to look after you
“This is socialized medicine...”

This is exactly why everyone should have gold/silver coins readily available.
IMHO, I feel that very few doctors these days would refuse a ‘Gold Eagle’ (slipped into their pocket in the privacy of their office) in order to facilitate speedy treatment for a family member or yourself.
So many here at FR & other sites chant the mantra “You can’t eat gold”. They’re right, of course, but a live chicken or a can of dehydrated potato flakes isn’t going to get much action.
