On Friday, failed 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney said it wasn't healthy that Congress has not passed amnesty legislation that the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers.
"I do believe it's important for us, before the presidential contest in 2016, to finally have immigration reform in place," Romney said, according to The Des Moines Register's Jennifer Jacobs. "I just don't think it's healthy for the country to continue to have this issue open and unresolved, particularly with so many families that are waiting for the answers."
Romney said he was not for a "special" pathway to citizenship and reportedly added "time is running out for" Congress to pass amnesty legislation this year.

No difference between Mitt and Obama either.
Those millions who stayed home on election day proved it.
GOP? Listening?
I agree Mit.
We should be deporting illegals at an accelerating pace.
We should be passing legislation kicking illegals off of welfare and that welfare should have in it a provision forbidding the courts from ruling on that legislation.
We should be reinforcing the southern border with fences and troops. Enough of this cooperating with foreign invaders. If you dont enforce your borders you dont have a country.
Yeah, your post wasn’t funny.
Makes me almost glad Hussein defeated him. Actually, things might have been even worse if Willard had been elected because the GOP congress would have a lot more trouble blocking Leftist policies from a fellow Republican.
Romney lost in 2012 when his no. 2 campaign guy, Eric Fehrnstrum, said that “after the primaries are over, we will do an Etch-A-Sketch” on all Romney’s positions he used during the primaries.
That’s when we knew that Romney would not live up to his tough-on-illegal-immigration stance and sell us out.
Result: 4 million conservatives stayed home on election day.
No kidding but not sure what the answer is. We get a good candidate like Palin and Herman Cain and the media and the left do their best to destroy them politically. I guess we just need to ignore the lame stream media when it comes to picking our candidates. Oh and get rid of them as moderators at debates. Screw 'em, they brought us this disaster, 0bama.

I am so ashamed that I voted for this man as I did with John McCain. I am bound and determined to never vote for a RINO again.
you all know what we need to do? We need to stand behind the GOP NO MATTER WHAT.
Cuz it’s a lesser evil.
And Mitt is really different from Obama.
And you all hate America if you don’t vote for Mitt or someone just like him. Cuz your vote for anyone else magically transforms into a vote for the Democrat!
And stuff...

And those people still show their faces here claiming to be conservatives. Not sure who the bigger fraud is. Mitt or them. Actually that’s a lie. Mitt has the sense to take a different position when he gets caught being a liberal.
That’s what the Stupid Party needs to tell the sheeple, that support for amnesty is “getting the Hispanic vote.” Yes, I’m aware that most Republicans are in bed with the Chamber of Communists.
We have all he immigration laws we need on the books already. Probably 10x too many as it is. The last thing we need is more laws.
White House Quotes Romney in Defense of Health Care
The Rat Romney: "Obama was born in the United States"
The Rat Romney: "Obama Doesnt Need a Birth Certificate"
The Rat Romney: "The citizenship test has been passed"
Rich Republicans are only intrerested in their tax breaks and cheap labor. All Democrats are interested in taking over the country any way they can. As such there are places where the two sides can meet. We are being stabbed in the back.
If an Amnesty supporter is the GOP nominee for President, I’m staying home!
Romney is wrong:
1. We have the laws. We need to implement the laws. Though I would agree that we need a clarification that just because somebody is born in this country does not make them a citizen. Also we need to cut admitting people from enemy countries.
2. No matter how much the GOP will push for amnesty, they will not get the Hispanic vote as seen from the futility of McCain's extreme efforts in 2008 to push for amnesty..
3. Polls reveal that majority of Americans want illegal aliens deported and want the border with Mexico protected.
Romney should return to Mexico, where his loyalties lie.
I wish Mitt would go the hell away from FreeRepublic, at least!
I see no need for any Romney articles to be posted here...he is not the least bit important except to his MittBots, and he, (along with McCain) is a black eye on the political landscape when he is labeled "conservative"!
Mitt Romney is an idiot.
Rue Scromney!
