You've said that the supply of "cheap labor" has been increased by the open borders policy...yet, you propose to move the supply/demand point further out of balance, by decreasing the demand for labor at the artificial, higher 'minimum wage.' How will this work? Why will it not make the problem worse? What do you intend to do with the resulting millions who are unemployable at $15/hr?

I said you support our current policy of mass LEGAL immigration.
Your LEGAL immigration policy has created 15 million new Green Cards since 2000.
Your LEGAL immigration policy has created 8.4 million new Socialist voters since 2000.
Are you now claiming you oppose 1.1 million new Green Cards each year?

Actually, I’m one of the best informed and most prolific writers at Free Republic on the subject of LEGAL immigration.
Because of mass LEGAL immigration, Conservatives may have already passed the point of political extinction.
Supporting the $15 wage is my last, desperate, counter-intuitive effort to slow down our political destruction.
If the GOP went to the polls in November advocating a $15 wage, and advocating a total stop for LEGAL low skill immigration, we would cause a political earthquake.
It won’t happen.
But an old man is still allowed dream.
