And according to Forbes the Clippers were worth half that. It is insane, but at the end of the day the value of a team is what someone is willing to pay for it. And right now the rest of the NBA owners would bestow sainthood on Sterling's wife if they could, because the ridiculous price she got just upped the value of their franchises by tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions, of dollars.
