Madison County jurist allegedly twice struck young man, called him the n-word. Witnesses said the incident happened at public flea market.
A judge in central Mississippi slapped a young black man in the back of the head and yelled Run, n----r, run, the teens parents claim in a police report.
The allegations against Madison County Justice Court judge Bill Weisenberger, who is white, will be weighed by a grand jury.
This is 2014, said former Canton mayor William Truly, who now heads the local NAACP, according to The Clarion-Ledger. (Its) not 1960, where someone could slap a young man and call out run n-----, run. Weisenberger was moonlighting as a security officer at the Canton Flea Market when the incident allegedly occurred two weeks ago.
Eric Rivers, 20, was asking for work at the open-air market when Weisenberger accosted him, the young mans parents said in their complaint.
Truly demanded that Weisenberger step down at a news conference on Friday.
No citizen should have to face justice before a judge who holds such a high degree of racial animus and hatred, he said.
Flea market vendor Cathy Hendrix told the newspaper she and others routinely rely on locals who help unload goods.
She said Rivers was standing on the sidewalk, asking if anyone needed help.
That young man was wanting to work to earn money to buy a bike, she said.
Her sister, Tammy Westbrook, said she saw Weisenberger rear back and slap Rivers twice, the newspaper reported.
As Rivers ran away, she said the judge yelled after him run boy, run and run, n-----, run.
Weisenberger did not return phone calls asking for comment, the paper said.
They guy is just an idiot, there are few racist bast*rds that are both white and black.
He’ll never own an NBA team, that’s for sure.
I heard a he’s an LA Clippers fan......he’s guilty.
I’ll put this one in the same file as the innocent lil 10 year old Trayvon chased down and murdered in cold blood.
Nope...Not BS...happened in my hometown of Canton.
He's a Republican.
Sounds like the kind of cretin we don’t need. This gives black racists like Holder and Obama ammunition.
He won his republican primary race in 2011 with 65% of the
vote and was unopposed in the General.
Well there you go, it’s probably a set up. If he did actually fall for it then he’s a dope.
Of course - a set up. Someone grabbed the judge's hand & slapped the other guy while a ventriloquist yelled the slur.
Party affiliation is totally meaningless. As one example among many, Jacob Javits was also a Republican but was clearly not a Conservative. This judge is obviously a leftist plant and part of another Alinsky-style false flag operation.
Just you watch. They’ll make him give up his Ole Miss football tickets..
Like this one?
“Just the word Mississippi, and you know right off the top, nothing but racist drops of dog poo. Mississippi, Alabama are two of the most racist states, next to Texas.”
Even that extreme leftist "chef" Anthony Bourdain (of Parts Unknown shown on a commie outfit, CNN) had to grudgingly admit that race relations were worse up there in Yankeeland than in beautiful Mississippi. The Magnolia State is among the most Christian and Conservative of the all. It's also Right-to-Work unlike the unionized slave states of the north. The great state of Mississippi is pro-freedom and pro-liberty because union thugs are held in check.
So some Neanderthal cracker calls a local kid a name and it makes national news. Maybe the MSM have “reporters” hanging around playgrounds working the “Nyah Nyah” beat.

Good point. Just because he is a Republican in Mississippi does not mean that he is a conservative. Could very well be a plant or a liberal Democrat who ran as a Republican.
My brother-in-law is a real estate lawyer. His father was a justice of the peace (JOP) in a tiny city. He was a nice man and very well respect, but had absolutely no legal credentials. In the seventies they would arraign people in the driveway of their house and turn them lose, if possible, to avoid jailing them.
HUH? NOT IMHO!

Thank you very much, dearest re_nortex.
I haven't watched any news, so this is the first I've heard or read about it. I hope I have the correct information. I only watched the linked video. I haven't read any newspapers.
We don't register to vote here by party affiliation and as a matter of fact, when we vote, we can ask for either party's (or parties) ballot, for instance in primaries.
This idiot likely ran as a Republican. That's meaningless to me, but not to the majority of the democrat black community, I'm all but certain.
Unfortunately, it's crap like this, from one, power-hungry idiot, that fuels indignant folks in the black community who still harbor their own issues for their own gain and reasons, so this thing is likely far from over. I'm just praying that good people won't get harmed and that the big mouths will be silenced and shamed, and of course that this shameful idiot will "get whatever's supposed to lawfully and justly come to him." He's on the bench? Wow.... just my reaction to his photo. God bless you all.
I’m hesitant to accept this as a true event.
If it happened in Mississippi and the guy is Republican, it HAS to be true./sarc
