This may be "she said...she said"....because calling 911 for spilling a cup of coffee is not the norm. She was not incapacitated. I would want to go home....get into a cold tub....and put some aloe on the burn.

As far as the ice....common sense says put something down first so the ice isn't in direct contact. We don't even know if she used it or was given it.
