According to a report from the BBC, gay rights activist Harvey Milk has been honored on a new U.S. postage stamp. The stamp was unveiled at the White House on Thursday.
In a description of the stamp, the U.S. Postal Service says that Milk was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977, making him one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States. Tragically, his career in public office was cut short when he and San Francisco Mayor George Moscone were assassinated.
The photo featured on the stamp is one of Milk taken in front of his camera store in San Francisco. The colors of the gay pride flag can be seen in a vertical strip in the top left corner.

Harvey Mudd - now that’s a stamp I would buy. The latest Star Trek movie had a subtle reference to Harvey - the transport that is flown to Kronos is called “the ship from the Mudd incident.”

ANY mail I get with that, or the Eid stamp goes directly in the circular file. Totally unacceptable.

I remember on the news the faggies rioting the night Dan White was convicted. As they were smashing the courthouse doors there was the creepy sound of faggies screaming. Not shouts, or yells, or any sound that would normally eminate from an all male mob. Instead they went
“Eeeee!! Eeeee!! Eeeeeeee!!!”

Killed by someone whom I am guessing wasn't friendly towards homosexuals, or why else would Milk be the martyr that he is with some today?Homosexual "lovers" can fit that category - I'd be willing to wager that more partner abuse goes on in the homosexual community than in the hetero community (as a percentage of individual population).

This sounds like a great opportunity for vandalism, of sorts.
For example, get blank postcards, and print them up with pro-NAMBLA crap about legalizing pedophilia, and under the Harvey Milk stamp write “Children need sex, too” in quotes.
Then mail them to excitable people.

“Harry”
Harcourt Fenton Mudd to be precise.
I can’t believe I made that mistake. I will surrender my Star Trek card later today.

Shouldn’t the headline be more like “Gay rapist honored by USPS”?

"Every time I read Harvey Milk, for some reason I think Harvey Mudd. I cannot get rid of the association." NO! It was "Harcourt Fenton Mudd" Not "Harvey"!! Although he was referred to as "Harry".
Sorry to pull a Trekkie moment on you but I will not even have someone like Harcourt Fenton Mudd's name dragged though the mud (pun intended) by the likes of Harvey Milk.

They were low on stamps at my post office and the guy at the window offered me those. I said, no" I don't want the IED stamp". Had almost everyone there laughing....guess that political correctness doesn't go too deep in the countryside...
