I read an article that girls were being advised to put a spoon in their underwear so when they are flagged at the airport, they can privately tell someone they are being forcibly taken from the country in order to be sexually mutilated.
I saw that too. However, the Somali girl in the article didn’t know the purpose of her trip to the Old Country, so that advice wouldn’t have helped her.
