Actually St. Catherines is a wonderful place, and it's not surprising Cochran chose it. As another poster said, he probably chose it because it's closer to their family.
Well, except for her husband. Who was in his early 60’s when she was placed there. And apparently not ready to do that ‘better or worse’ thing.
Do a google image search for mrs. thad cochran. That older lady in the evening gown standing next to Thad? Not his wife...Even google images thinks Kay is Mrs. Cochran. And apparently that’s been an open secret in DC for way over a decade.
I know more than a few people who keep their family Alzheimers patients at home. And make great financial sacrifices to do so. Because they are private people and don’t want complete strangers changing mama’s diapers. And God only knows what else.
But apparently not everybody does...
And, btw, do his children actually live in MS as their primary residence? I haven’t heard either way.
Oh, and Cochran and his team waited two WEEKS after they learned about the intrusion before they actually contacted the authorities.
