They also hate snow. Spent all winter in the barn when they had a open door to go out....I think they instinctual know they are prey animals and with angoras they carry a lot of hair that would slow them down a lot if running....like jumping into the lake all dressed and with shoes on....drags you down alot...

Mine don’t seem to be bothered by snow. Jack is the one who always broke trail.
