I know. Sorry. I misplaced my sarc tag when posting that.
The sarcasm was obvious with regards to the video being to blame. I just wasn’t sure about the “Christian” part. A lot of people seem to actually believe the video in question was a Christian video. Anyone who’s actually watched the trailer knows better, but I think most people, even among those talking about it, haven’t actually seen it. And I’m still not convinced there was ever a full movie. All I’ve ever seen was the trailer. As far as I can tell, the obama administration is blaming the Benghazi terrorist attack and the worldwide 9/11 uprisings on a movie that never existed, and implying it was a Christian video. I’ve seen a lot of people speaking up about the obvious lie that the video was at fault, but I haven’t seen anyone addressing the perception that it was a Christian video, or the lie that muslims everywhere but Benghazi were so busy protesting it they never noticed it was 9/11. It seems to be universally accepted that there was a full length Christian movie. The only disagreement seems to be over whether it’s at fault in Benghazi. The administration presents as proof the “fact” that muslims around the world were protesting the Christian movie. I see people declaring that doesn’t prove it was to blame in Benghazi, but nobody ever calls them out on the fact that it wasn’t a Christian video, and muslims the world over were observing the anniversary of 9/11/2001, not protesting a video they’d never heard of. /rant (or rant paused antways).
