I wouldn’t have minded such a rule if I knew the reason for it. I lurked for a
long time before signing up.
If you’re trying to spot a troll or fake conservative just apply the Goldwater test: “What would Barry say/do”? If you don’t have a copy of his book Conscience of a Conservative you need one. Mine’s published 1963.
