Like Lugar and Roberts, Cochran has basically said "hey, I'm in a republican state and I get elected time and time again so I don't even need to go back there."

Cochran needs to be thrown out because he is a liberal, not because he lives in Washington. (I’m guessing at least 97 Senators live in the Washington area.) Then again, I suppose we can’t unilaterally surrender in the muckracking war.
