stands to reason. may they fall in passionate love and elope on Uranus together, ASAP
Is there a chance that the GOP wins in the House in 2014, but the Democrats and a portion of Republicans vote Pelosi as speaker?
That is why talk of a new speaker makes no sense until there is a replacement ready to go. Who would take Boehner’s place. It is pathetic that there is no front runner.
More likely is that Republicans defect Boehner, but Pelosi instructs Democrats to vote for him. Boehner becomes Democrat-installed Speaker of the House.

I think it would be ironic that you would find 20 of the most conservative members to threaten to vote for Pelosi against whoever is the GOP Speaker candidate should anything that looks like amnesty be passed.
It doesn’t matter if it is Boehner or not. Whoever is being picked as the next Speaker should be punished if they went along with Boehner’s amnesty plan.
There's always going to be a sizable number of RINOs that will block conservatism and eagerly work with the Democrats.
What would be the difference between that and now?
Yup - it’s all up to the people voting tomorrow in Cincinnati - you can put a newbie Tea Partier into Congress and let Boehner relax and play golf - or continue the RINO tyranny, which to me is way worse than the Dems -at least they aren’t lying pretenders.

Republican “Doormat” Boehner and Democrat Intellectual Pelosi an item?
You crack me up.
no, Cincinnati does NOT vote for Boehner, we have Steve Chabot and Brad Wenstrup. Boehner is up north of us in a different district.
What’s a BFF?
I looked up the 8th District and see what cities are included - Piqua, Troy, Springfield, parts of Dayton - so I stand corrected. I had read somewhere that Cincinnati was included in Boehner’s district - was there some redistricting, or I am just plain wrong?
what is BFF?

No, Nick. That’s silly.
And no, PJ, not gonna happen.
Remember no one challenged Boner in 2013, and that was after a BAD election.
I remember these speculative stories after the 2012 election.
September 2013: Speaker Boehner Will Step Down After 2014 Elections
Report: GOP operatives, former Boehner aides expect him to retire after midterms next year
Those may just have been feints to take the pressure off of Boehner, because I haven't heard much talk like that since September of last year.
