Carp is very edible, they are just boney, so there are two methods to prepare them.

A good bit, but the dirty little secret about diabetes is ... you still have to have carbohydrates (sugar) .
You just have to regulate it, and keep a close eye on it.

What's worth studying is "micro-nutrients" and dark green leafy vegetables have a lot of them.
But don't give up red meats.
