It’s not about how easy it might be. For me, it’s about a person in a leadership position, who has great accomplishments, allowing himself or herself to be bullied by culture thugs. When the left perceives weakness they simply intensify their attacks. Someone like Rice or Carson needs to stand up against people like these, because if they won’t, who will?

It's a commencement address -- and for a half-@ssed college, too. As someone else pointed out on this thread, this is the same "university" (I use that term loosely) that had some slutty New Jersey trash "actress" (again, I use that term loosely) as their commencement address a couple of years ago.

Making a principled stand to appear at a place like Rutgers University is like making a principled stand on behalf of tuberculosis.
