Yes, mylife, I DO have a bee in my bonnet and it stands for "brains". Brains enough to recall your snarky comments the past few days directed to those of us critiquing Rush's recent shows.
You just wrote, "I just dislike all the negative nattering". Well, reviewing your comments, the snarky comments came from you to begin with...you just wouldn't brook anybody commenting on Rush's Rip Van Winkle act the past week or so.
We Rush fans don't expect Rush to please us all the time as you not-so-subtly implied. Just most of the time....or we wouldn't tune in at all.
If he sometimes bores you "to tears" as you just admitted, then you could have been more agreeable at the onset.
Rush, or someone for him, monitors these daily threads....and I'll bet he eagerly reads and welcomes the sincere brickbats as well as the sincere bouquets posted. This is part of the acumen of intelligent political analysts (like Rush) who always seek to improve their craft by keeping their ears to the ground and a finger in the wind.
Now let's kiss and make up....and if you're a guy freeper, so much the better!
