MILWAUKEE A federal judge in Milwaukee struck down Wisconsin's voter identification law Tuesday, saying a requirement that voters show a state-issued photo ID at the polls imposes an unfair burden on poor and minority voters.
U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman sided with opponents of the law, who argued that low-income and minority voters aren't as likely to have photo IDs or the documents needed to get them. Adelman said the law violated the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of equal protection.

So that measn you don’t need an id to get a drivers license or anything else then too?
This judge is obviously either retarded or a Dem loyalist. But then, I repeat myself.
These F**ing judges are starting to really pi$$ people off...
They keep trying to do this in Texas, and failing.
Here’s what our AG (who’ll be our next Gov) has told them, in their latest attempt to block our voter ID law...
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott reacted sharply to the latest attack on the state’s election laws, which he called “the cynical politics of race.”
“Voter IDs have nothing to do with race, and they are free to anyone who needs one,” Abbott said. “Eric Holder’s outrageous claim that voter ID is a racist plot to disenfranchise minority voters is gutter politics and is offensive to the overwhelming majority of Texans of all races who support this ballot integrity measure.”
“Those whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.”
Okay, Wisconsin FReepers .... start refusing to show ID for everything else it’s required for.
How about wicked?
Adelman said the law violated the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of equal protection.
Where is my protection against voter fraud?
But it is not an unfair burden for the rest of us when we are saddled with douchebag liberal politicians, elected through voter fraud, I suppose.
So what do the minorities and low income people use for ID when picking up their welfare checks or EBT cards? What do they show as ID when using the EBT card?
Conservatives continue to fight the stigma against minorities, but its an uphill effort.
So we’re saying that low-income and minority voters aren’t given birth certificates when they are born. THAT’S RACIST!
Too bad that they also don’t apparently have a job, go to bars, collect government benefits, have a way to ID themselves if questioned by the police, or pretty much any other thing that normal people do.
Yes, of course, someone like that should vote about who rules over you.
If people like that actually existed.
U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman...
nominated for the bench by Billy J. Clinton.
But one needs an ID to get into many bars, but not to vote.
Of course... throwing the integrity of voting to the wolves is hardly “equal protection.” When even the uber-liberal United Nations scratches its head at your elections, something is in trouble.
Maybe the Constitution could use a voter-ID amendment, if judges are going to be this stupid about it.
“saying a requirement that voters show a state-issued photo ID at the polls imposes an unfair burden on poor and minority voters”.
It’s like this your honor, you are imposing a restriction on the honest voters of this state. We cannot afford the lack of security that your ruling allows. Furthermore if need be, we the pullers of the cart will provide the necessary Id at our expense just one more burden we carry while you do your best to destroy America, against your very oath of office.
Even most BLACK PEOPLE think this is a good idea!
“Who ya callin’ stupid?”
Appointed by Pres. Clinton, September 8, 1997 “On January 22, 2010, United States Senators Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold forwarded four names to the Obama White House for consideration to fill the vacancy on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals created when Judge Terence T. Evans assumed senior status.[2] Adelman was recommended along with Victoria F. Nourse, Richard Sankovitz, and Dean Strang.
