I haven't been able to read every comment, however, even if it's been mentioned before, Sterling will have the NBA and the commissioner tied up in court till kingdom come. He has the means to bankrupt the NBA unless it loses in court prior to that.

On another thread today, I posted about listening to the tape of the Billionaire and the Bimbo.....everyone should listen to her baiting him in measured, "set" phrases over a protracted period of time....not natural or normal repartee between parties, deliberate questions to him in a pattern, JUST LIKE SHE WAS READING FROM A SCRIPT! Oh, yes! She was rehearsed, no doubt about it.

To save his own ego and reputation, the NBA head is going to open a lot of graves, a lot of secrets, a lot of dirt, a lot of fraud, a lot of misdeeds, a lot of collusions, a lot of blackmail....with his apparently unconstitutional penalty.

Owner Sterling will file for total discovery, both testimony under oath and documents and deals.......going all the way back to basketball's inventor, Dr. James Naismith (in 1898), hah!.

I just hope when the investigation into all of the NBA activities is over they decide that “Palming” the ball is a racist action (white guys can’t do it) and the rule against it is reinstated for the protection of the NBA’s minority players.... :)

And that will include the communications of EVERY NBA business owner and home office.

If Stirling sues, the NBA will be looking to cut a deal on Stirling's terms.

Disagree, my dear...he won't do anything...he's already likely agreed to a sale. In the NBA bylaws..every owner agrees that he can be forced to sell, if 2/3 of the owners vote him out. And when he signed on as an owner, he gave up the right to challenge it in court.

He gains nothing by fighting them...where he does have a potential lawsuit is if the price he gets..because of a "forced" sale, is less than what he thought is was worth...he can sue for the difference..but I'll bet the NBA will figure out a may to make it work..look..the team's said to be worth $800 mill..suppose he gets $500 mill for it..that means every owner has to kick in $10 mill..about what they pay for a bench player for one year..and it all goes away...they want to look like heroes..and not have questions asked why they let him go on so for many years.

Also, Sterling's old....he has to start thinking about estate planning..and remember, if he wants to leaved it to his family...the ban only applies to him...the league still has to approve ANY new owner..even a family member..

Prediction...they 'll have a prospective buyer, or more than one..to announce right after the playoffs are over..

I really lost it when the NBA Commish said he was going to TAKE the Clippers... When we lost the right of free speech apparently we lost our property rights.

Of course if Sterling goes the route of the courts he is facing the Ninth Circus mentality out there in Fornicalia... Still, I agree he should stay at it until he either bankrupts the NBA or brings sanity back to the fore...

I know nuttin' about the NBA, and care about as much; OTOH I think the NFL is not far behind - which really frosts me; what they did to Rush when he wanted to buy part of a team - threw a huge pack of lies at him and practically labeled him a Klan-er... I suspect they will get everything they deserve. The Libs and -craps have got football in their sights now [college and pro] - and whatever they want to destroy gets destroyed... Commish Roger Goodell does not fill me with the fighting spirit.
