Magic would always be a minority owner. He has some capital, but to enough to be a big player. He is popular in LA and with the players. He would be a figurehead for the team, but some conglomerate will buy, just like the dodgers.

He had 10 percent ownership of the Lakers and gave it away..wanted to put full focus on his ownership of the Dodgers, which is fine..but for him to buy the Clippers would be a slap in the face to Laker fans

I don’t think Magic has any interest in buying the Clips, nor the capital.

I believe he would have to sell his interest in the Dodgers if he were to buy the Clips since they are in the same market, even though they are different sports but I’m not 100% on that.
